FeePilot (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of the students and guardians whose data you manage on our platform. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use FeePilot.

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, school name, and payment information when you create a FeePilot account. We also collect information about how you use our platform, including log data, device information, and usage patterns, to help us improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve FeePilot; process transactions; send transactional and administrative communications; respond to your questions and support requests; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. Data Isolation and Security
Each school's data on FeePilot is fully isolated from all other schools. We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS encryption in transit, and role-based access controls. Our infrastructure undergoes regular security audits.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account, you may request deletion of your data. We will delete your personal information within 30 days of receiving a verified deletion request, subject to legal retention requirements.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our platform, remember your preferences, and understand how users interact with FeePilot. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality.
6. Third-Party Services
FeePilot integrates with third-party services including payment processors and SMS providers. These services have their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum information necessary for them to provide their services to us.
7. Your Rights

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify account holders by email and update the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of FeePilot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
